This particular example is one of only 11 right-hand drive short nose 275s ever produced with the more powerful six carburettor engine setup. It was built new for a very important Ferrari client, a man who owned some very significant examples from Maranello, including a P4 (0856), a 250TR (0736) and, in partnership with Rob Walker, the Stirling Moss 250SWB (2119 GT), which he owned at the time Moss won the Tourist Trophy at Goodwood in 1960. The car is fresh from a 30-month restoration by the world’s foremost Ferrari specialists, with the body restored by Brandoli, paintwork by Cremonini Carrozzeria, interior trimmed by Luppi Tappezzeria and all mechanics overhauled by GTO Engineering. Strict instruction to all involved was that the work be totally period correct and the finished product be the finest restored 275 in existence, which we believe they achieved. Following the completion of the restoration, the car has also been granted its Ferrari ‘Red Book’ Classiche certification.
