Despite the uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought upon us all this year, Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd and Salon Privé were still able to unite to combat the negativity and safely return to the majestic grounds of Blenheim Palace with quite possibly the most sensational line-up to date. For four days the South Lawn was overcome with some of the finest super and classic cars in the world, accompanied by luxury brands and exquisite hospitality it was an honour for Tom Hartley Jnr and his team to be invited to exhibit once again.
Considered the UK’s most prestigious Concours d’Elégance, it was a week to truly admire and without a doubt Team THJ lead from the front! Pitched in the best location on the lawn Tom Hartley Jnr certainly displayed some of the most exquisite classic and performance cars there, commanding respect stood one of the most original sports-racing Ferrari’s in existence; a Ferrari 500 Mondial Scaglietti, a McLaren F1 GTR Longtail; the first ever to be converted to road specification, a UK supplied 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari, a McLaren P1 XP; one of only 14 Experimental Prototypes, a superbly-restored AMOC Concours winning DB5; an incredibly original 1974 Lancia Stratos HF with low mileage and last but not least a Defender 90 Soft-top re-designed by Overfinch that was launched in celebration of the Monaco Yacht show, these girls really stole the limelight and drew the attention of the masses every single day.
In conclusion, the entire Salon Privé week was a much-needed escape from the current climate for all, bringing us all together whilst we kept apart! With Saturday being the much-anticipated Classic & Supercar day where tickets sold out in record timing of going live spoke volumes for how called for the event was and Tom Hartley Jnr.
