A very late production example, the latest we’ve ever seen.

Delivered new to Germany to a very well-known race car driver and team owner, with the optional extra of adjustable suspension.

Incredibly original throughout with factory markings still in place and all secret body numbers have been checked by ourselves and we can confirm these are all original and correct. The paintwork is incredible; with the ‘weave’ as prominent on all of the panels as we’ve ever seen on any example we’ve handled in the past, evidence that it still retains its original paint.

Upon acquiring the car we sent it to Graypaul Ferrari for a major service, which included replacing the cambelts, fuel tanks and suspension bushes. In addition the tyres were replaced due to age and the air conditioning re-gassed.

Complete with its original books including the service/warranty supplement, leather pouch, tool kit, tyre canister and dedicated history file.

In total, there were 1,315 F40s produced, however very few remain as original as this particular car and these original examples are the ones that will outperform the ‘others’ as every year goes by.
