A very special example of the famed Renault 5 Turbo 1, and one with very special provenance. Owned from new by a very well-known and respected gentleman in the motorsports industry, the car was even driven around Maranello by the Commendatore Enzo Ferrari himself, who had developed a soft spot for the turbocharged hot hatch. Mr. Ferrari personally commissioned his factory to install a ‘Ferrari’ Pioneer radio which still remains in the car to this day. Due to the relationship the one and only owner has with most car manufacturers, in 2000 the car was sent back to Renault Sport to be recommissioned. Complete with its original service/warranty booklet and original sales invoice, with only 27,300km and one distinguished owner from new, this particular Turbo 1 should not be confused with any other!
