1 of very few examples built by AC Cars to correct period specification, known as the ‘Continuation’ cars. Fitted with a genuine 289 cu/4.7 litre engine, only 1,600 miles from new, a declared manufacture date of 1963 on the V5 registration document, accompanied by a letter from AC Cars Ltd confirming the car was constructed to the 1963 289 MkII model specification, a correct continuation car built by the factory that’s a fraction of the cost of an identical period example.
