The most important steel bodied 250 GT SWB in the world. A very rare right-hand drive example that was delivered new with a competition engine, a Monza style fuel filler plus driver and passenger headrests. It was then upgraded by the factory under Enzo Ferrari’s personal request (signed letters within the history file) when only 6 months old with some very special features, items included a 135 litre fuel tank, a unique style dash plus the engine from 2001GT that came 4th overall and won its class at Le Mans along with a 3rd overall finish at the Tour De France in 1960. Later in life owned by renowned collectors Lord Anthony Bamford as well as Eric Clapton, total matching numbers, Ferrari Red Book Classiche certified, simply one of the most important GT Ferraris on the planet!
