Chassis #10803 is believed to be the most original 275 GTB/4 in existence.
Delivered new in September 1968 to a gentleman in Lake Forest, Illinois, who traded in a Miura and Maserati Ghibli. It was then sold in August 1969 to Carl C. Gagliano of Milwaukee, who used it only sparingly but maintained it throughout his ownership and stored it properly. When Mr Gagliano passed away in 1996, the car was left to his son Bill, a long standing Milwaukee based SCCA member. Bill would use the car very little before preserving the underside and wheels and placing it onto stands in long-term storage.
The car would leave the Gagliano family’s ownership in 2013 and later that year it was shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where it earned a second place award in Class L-2; Postwar Preservation. In January of the following year, it was shown at the XXIII Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach, Florida where it earned three awards including the Vintage Preservation Cup.
Recently mechanically recommissioned by leading North American Ferrari restorers Motion Products Inc. and complete with its original books and original tool roll. This 275 GTB/4 should not be confused with any other.
