Monterey Car Week is always a highlight of the year for automotive enthusiasts, and this year was no exception. We are thrilled to share the exciting news that our 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was awarded First in Class in the highly competitive M-2: Ferrari Late category at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
This award is the culmination of a meticulous three-year restoration by Ferrari Classiche, followed by months of detailed preparation leading up to this event. The recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work that went into returning this iconic Ferrari to its former glory. Seeing it celebrated on one of the world’s most renowned stages for classic automobiles is incredibly rewarding.
We send our congratulations to Fritz Burkard of The Pearl Collection who won Best of Show in his 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports. While we were a little disappointed that the GTO didn’t also scoop the Best in Show prize, the accolade went to a great car and enthusiastic owner.
Our DB4GT was a vision in yellow on the show field with its Pale Primrose paintwork looking radiant in the Californian sunshine and drawing lots of attention from the crowds.
Beyond the awards and accolades, Monterey Car Week gave us the opportunity to reconnect with many friends, clients, and fellow enthusiasts. The energy, passion, and camaraderie that permeated the event were truly special, and we are already looking forward to returning in 2025.
